PlayStation All-Stars X Super Smash Bros (Updated) by LeeHatake93 PlayStation All-Stars X Super Smash Bros (Updated) by LeeHatake93
Honestly I'm tired of hearing people bashing Sony for making PlayStation All-Stars. Yes, it's similar to Smash Bros, but the controls, gameplay, and method of earning victory are quite different. I'm a fan of both series and as a firm supporter of Nintendo and Sony, I believe that All-Stars could potentially become the next Smash Bros for Sony players everywhere. Just to show my support, I've thrown this together as an idea of what would happen if Sony and Nintendo collaborated on a game together. For Smash Bros, I only chose 1 character per series as the Nintendo side would overwhelm the picture.
Anyway, enjoy the picture
UPDATE:
#1 Added characters: Kat & Dusty, Emmett Graves, R.O.B., Master Hand, Crazy Hand, Polygon Man
#2 Added characters: Zeus, Isaac Clarke

Sounds pretty not Smash-like at all.

The gameplay is different. In Smash Bros, characters only have four special moves assigned to a single button. In All-Stars, they have 12 special attacks between three buttons. Smash Bros didn't have Final Smashes until Brawl, and each character only gets one. All-Stars introduced Super Moves right away, and each character gets 3. Smash Bros' gameplay revolves around attacking opponents until you get their damage meter high enough to knock them out of the boundaries of the stage, and All-Stars revolves around killing opponents with super moves. Stages in Smash Bros only represent a single franchise, whereas PlayStation All-Stars has stages that cross multiple franchises together. Smash Bros has a 2D side-scrolling adventure mode, All-Stars has a semi-story based arcade mode like Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat. The list goes on.. The only thing they have in common is that fact that they are fighting games with rosters taken from first-party franchises from their receptive consoles, and feature four-player battles.

Nintendo forbids guns so about half of the SSBB roster are skrewed, Snake is thier only hope and he could probably take on every PSASBR character (except Ratchet, no one can beat Ratchet!)

still...I'm sure there are plenty of fans who
would kill to see Raiden vs Snake, despite their
loyalty to each other.
